About Us

ABCD storage products are designed by Westpoint Design and manufactured in Glasgow, Scotland. Established for over 20 years as graphic designers, our inability to find a suitable method of storing a growing collection of music CDs drove us to devise our own system.

We searched long and hard for a system that would allow us to store a large collection in alphabetical order. CD towers and slotted CD racks drove us to distraction with the need to move the collection along one slot at a time to add a new CD in sequence. For years we kept our collection in simple bookcase shelves but every time CDs were removed to play in the office or the car, their spaces were lost and the hassle of replacing them meant the collection soon became disorganised.

Please note that throughout our terms and conditions when we refer to "we", "us", "our", etc. we mean Westpoint Design Consultants Limited and when we refer to "you" we mean the user / browser of our website.

These terms and conditions contain the whole of our agreement relating to your purchase together with our website prices and contact details. They do not affect your statutory rights in any way.

We are unable to supply to persons under the age of 18.

We are not involved in any transactions between you and any parties who are linked to our site. Any transactions are at your own risk.

All goods supplied are for personal use only.

We reserve the right to refuse to supply any person or company for any reason.

All designs, graphics and other artwork are and remain the copyright of Westpoint Design Consultants Limited, although permission is granted to you to print portions of our website for the sole purpose of placing an order or reading the terms and conditions more carefully. Any other use is strictly prohibited.

As we are a Scottish company, we shall be governed by the law of Scotland and Scottish courts shall have jurisdiction in any disputes between us.

Delivery

Delivery of the goods shall be made by Westpoint Design Consultants Limited or their nominated carrier delivering the goods to the delivery address specified in the customer's order and can be normally expected within 7 days of receipt of order. Depending on size of order, a signature on delivery may be required.

If for any reason delivery will take more than 30 days, customers will be offered the option of an alternative date or a refund.

Customs

Prices are inclusive of VAT for the UK and other EU countries. Countries outwith the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes which are incurred once an order reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Customs policies vary widely from country to country - if required you should contact your local customs office for further clarification.

cancellation / returns

You may cancel your order by informing us of this in writing any time up to 7 days from the day after the goods are received. Goods should be returned to us at your expense provided the goods have not been used and are in the same condition as received by the customer. We will refund the cost of the goods within 30 days of cancellation.

Should you receive a damaged item from us, you have the choice of a prompt replacement or a full refund. You should notify us within 7 days of the problem and return the damaged goods with original packaging to us within 14 days. You will not be charged additional postage fees for replacement orders.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect only your name, address and contact details in order to enable us to process your order and this is held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We do not receive your credit / debit card information because payment is made directly using WorldPay via a secure server (see Credit Card Security).

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mail from us or from another trader in the future.

We do not use cookies to hold personal information.

Our secure payment service providers use the latest technology to protect your credit / debit card information and do not release it to any other organisation. You can place your order using secure encryption utilising the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

We cannot be held responsible for service interruption, transmission of viruses or losses sustained by the transmission of personal information by e-mail.

ABCD Storage and ABCDVD Storage have been devised to provide a simple and practical solution for the storage of CD and DVD collections. Those same principles of simplicity and practicality have been applied to their presentation and display in the retail environment. There is no requirement for expensive floor space for display.

Indeed, the packaging has been designed specifically to be displayed within existing CD and DVD product areas in order to attract impulse buys from customers shopping for music and movies and not just those shopping for storage.
